[Bruce Carpenter]

fished for crappie Saturday morning, we caught 29 keepers 9-12 inchers and lost about a dozen fish in heavy brush. Lost about 30 hooks. As the temperature warmed the fish went down for heavy cover. We started catching them at 7 feet down by 8 am they had dropped to 12-15 down in heavy cover. We tightlined and continued to catch fish but lost some in the brush. a good day. caught all on jig and minnow or jig and niblet. caught over one non keeper for every keeper. Wait I think I have another bite. Bruce
