Free Washing Machine

Post by deer_slayer » March 29th, 2005, 10:10 am

I think it's a Magic Chef brand, pretty old. It works....sort of. It does actually run, but it doesn't really ring the clothes out during the spin cycle anymore and it's pretty darn loud. Every few loads it leaks a little oil or something into the load and the clothes have to be re-washed to get rid of the spots. The spots do come right out, so I'm not even 100% sure it's oil, but something gets in there. Anyway, I was tired of listening to the wife complain, so I bought a new machine from Lowe's last weekend and don't need this thing sitting around. Free if you come pick it from my house in House Springs (about 30 minutes southwest of St. Louis). Email me at bsheldon@doanemr.com if interested.

It's sitting on my deck right now, and while it's awfully purdy just sittin' there, I reckon someone else could put it to better use. Maybe I could paint it camoflage and I wouldn't notice it on the deck anymore. Image Image

Yank the guts out of it, cut a few holes in each side, paint it camo, and use it as a hunting blind. On a nice day, you can open the lid. If it starts to rain, close the lid. Kinda like a sun roof.
