Looks good and sound like a challenge. I had better get back to chasing bass. IMO, crappie are more fun to catch.

Evendently, I need to get my post count up so I can be trusted. Image

@ Saftybass: The boards needed cleaning, but it was nice seeing my name up in 1st place. It will not be long now, I'll be back up thar, you will see (I may have to run out and bank fish for 1/2 hour 04/01 and catch a 12" bass just to make the board before anyone else does) Image

@ Buckeye: I know what you mean, I will be lucky to get out fishing 4X in any given month this year. My boat is still in winter storage Image

@ ML1: I'm just leery of posters signing up, reporting a monster hawg and then are never heard from again. I'm pretty good about trusting people once, twice if they are cute Image

Do Streams and rivers count?

If so, I'm in.

Sounds good to me. I hope to have my name at the top of the smallmouth catagory when it is all said and done, but we will see how it goes. Great idea by the way.

@ Double Lung: Any open to the general public Missouri stream, river, creek, lake or pond. I plan on doing the majority of my Smallmouth fishin on Big Piney and the Gasconade.

Good luck everybody!

@ Dmav: Your gonna be on the Gasconade, aint ya ? There aint no smallies in there, just turtles Image

Smally and Lgmouth, I'll get a fish on the board. Now a spotted will be a different issue, them things just don't ever wanna be my huckleberry.

I'll never tell, but you may be on to something there. I agree totally, not a smallmouth up in our part of the river (not that we own it, just where we do most of our fishing Image). I think they all start heading our way and then take a left up the Big Piney, so no reason to come to the Gasconade, stay on the Piney. Image
