There was a Guy up at Truman yesterday Snagging from the bank,had his two and was talking with some Guys,and a couple other Guys cut his Rope and took his fish.One of them weighed 70 pounds.

Thats about when the snagging rod would become a lethal weapon. Them treble hooks/sinker would'nt feel real great upside the head either!

I don't want to start anything here...But the way some guys Grab ....the Size of Hooks and then sometimes the Fish get Wounded by the Line Cutting into them....I will not Snag unless i first find someone that wants my Fish....Thats just the way i am..I can't see Killin these Fish....or even putting them into Jeopardy unless their gonna be Ate...
I generally take Two Rods with me....if no one is there...then i'll Light Tackle something...
The Young Fellow I gave two to the other Day....He also Quit immediately and Loaded those fish up and Went Home....
Now this is just my Opinion....Please...Don't take this the Wrong Way...Good Fishin to All....

Billy Boy Snagging is about the only way you are going to get Spoonbill,and I will not be caught with under leighth fish.All the ones I catch are eaten.

Howdy oneshot....Yep...Gettin caught with sub legal Fish is not worth it...
Actually what i was kinda getting at was Snagging these Spoonies can Be very Brutal to a fish...with two on his Stringer...and if he's like all other Fishermen i've seen they pretty much tie their Fish up in Extremely Shallow Water....Thats Stresses out a Fish Big Time...and if there's a Sunny Sky....the Fish will burn also....
I'd like to see a Fisherman that had a Limit of Spoonies ...just go on Home and tend to his Catch....Not Cull Fish or do Battle with any...Thats one reason i use small hooks as well...The Fellows i give mine to, can't even tell where they've been Hooked...then sometimes the Fish will get all wrapped up and get Line Cuts and All....Kinda feel sorry for the spoonies....
