Quality time with a Pro...walleye pro, that is.....

Post by coyotewhacker » April 6th, 2005, 4:09 pm

Jim Carroll, professional walleye fisherman from Minot, North Dakota, will be in Springfield this coming weekend to pick up his new Tracker ride. We will be having a little get together with Jim at Hooter's about 7:00 Monday evening. All interested parties are invited. If you are reasonably certain that you will be there, put a note on here so I can go buy early and make sure we have enough seats in one place for everybody. This is primarily a social thing, but it's possible that a few gems of walleye wisdom might slip out during the course of the evening, especially after a brew or two. See y'all Monday....CW

Just got denied for my time off request so I'll probably not be there. As my daddy always said, work smart not hard.

OK...7pm tonight...Hooter's....the usual area in the back corner. Maybe move across the divider to the larger table if we get an overflow crowd...(fat chance). Bad Santa will vacuum up all the crumbs, OK? Maybe he can tell us about the Texas bass run if we ever get around to talking about fishing......I will try to remember to bring along the digital camera to send a pic or two along to J. Candle so he will know what he missed.

Trust me guys, If there was anyway I could be there, I would be. I have seen Jim at Hooters too many time to not want to see it again. Image Be careful and take care of my buddy. He has a hard time breathing when his tongue gets hard. I don't know if it is the wings, the beer, the girls, or a deadly combination of all of the above.

I can't wait to meet all of you guys, in a month or so. It would also be nice to get down that way this fall and do some type of seminar or school. Ask Jim about the Walleye University we do. Perhaps it will fit in your schedule this winter.
Keep the Line Tight,

JC1, we'll definitely ask JC2 about that (before his tongue goes kaput). Could possibly be a good thing for the MWAA to participate in, for the public benefit...

It would be neat if we could tie that in with our annual banquet. If you guys get Jims info have him get with me and we'll see what we can do. It doesn't look like i'll make it. I get off at 10:00 do you think you guys will still be there.
