Truman Tailrace
Truman Tailrace
Warmer weather this week has the fish biting better again. Crappie have been real good most evenings on the running side, as well as up on Truman. They have been on the banks again, so we are looking at a couple of weeks of really good crappie fishing if Mother Nature cooperates this time. Some nights the whites and hybrids are hitting well at The Tailrace, but we would definitely see more fish if the water were running more consistantly. The catfish are still biting, with a few big ones caught this week. One flat head weighed in at 49 lbs caught on a spoon. Good time to get the kids out fishing if the weather holds. They don't have to cast far and they have that naturally good action when they reel in a line.
