I got my application sent in for Iowa. I doubt I draw out. Looks to be about a 50/50 chance.

Buffalo Ridge Bow Camp is on the outskirts of beautiful Texico, IL. It is a non-profit camp, by invitation only. We don`t have a web site as of yet, in fact that isn`t even in the works. We specialize in room and board (bored, in Snowflake`s case) for NR hunters that frequent the Outdoor Missouri web site. More details will be available later. Thank you for your support.

Absolutely! If that`s you in your avatar, we may even be able to provide some financial assistance. Of course we`ll need to do a thorough background check first. If you`ll provide a few basic statistics about yourself, and your hunting experiences we can get that started right away. Image

Notice 170s outfit only includes room and board. Where is the mention of 1000s upon 1000s of acres? You are not doing me one bit of good just by putting me up for the evening. No mention of food either.

I can't wait to get to BRBC in 2005. I plan to stand at a few stop lights at busy intersections holding a boot for donations. I may even sell pretzels. One way or the other I am gonna come up with the money.

PS,

It`s not called Buffalo Ridge Hunting Camp. We do eat very well.(especially if Robin does the cooking) You can bring your own, or we can provide the grub.

It is our pleasure to announce that you are the winner of this month`s drawing for former clients. Looks like you have won a bottle of Scent-A-Way soap. Congratulations.

I wish you had a facility in Iowa. Ifn' I get drawn for a tag, I'm not sure what is on the agenda for food and lodging. I'll worry about that later though. At least I have covered the important part of finding a place to hunt.

170,

Hot damm...ironic thing is I misplaced my last almost full bottle somewhere. Does this new lodge have a grill? I am getting pretty darn good with a grill here lately if I must say so myself. Either that or my wife is just humoring me so she doesn't have to cook.

Keith,

Your wife tells me she has to humor you quite a bit about other things, too.

Huntn170,

I have no real experience deer hunting except with the use of Dog's which is different from how you hunt them here. At least from what has been described to me so far. I have killed deer, hogs, and caught lots of fish. More fishing than anything. After hearing all the talk of these monster whitetail deer, my interest is certainly peaked. I would like to show up my two older brothers who think they are hotshit.... an average deer here in the midwest would be all it would take. Image Image Image

Rafe..she does what she can to build my ego up. She knows the more she tells me she likes something the more I will do it. I must be doing something right. BTW-Tell your wife thanks for the flowers, but she didn't really have to do that.

Ms. Tail,

If average deer is what you`re after, then I`m definitely your man.

You`re in luck. Buffalo Ridge has a brand, spankin, new grill that you are more than welcome to use, and abuse.

Decision is made...I can't afford it and will have to skip IL this year. (Unless H170 turns up his sales.) Now, if SplitTail is showing up, then I will have to figure out a way to get over there. Come to think of it, with her permission, I will just film her. Well, her hunts anyway.

I can't wait. I talked to Bud last night, he is glad I am making headway in connecting with MidWestern folks. He told me we would fit in fine but I was pretty apprehensive. I guess Rednecks survive in all climate's. Image

He is fine with it btw. Game on. Image
