I heard Bill Anderson saying basically the same thing the other day....Sounds like they are going to speed up their stocking program for the eyes....Iffin they could do that for the eyes, why couldnt they do it for the bass as well....
That's funny you don't look Druish.

Couldnt prove it by me....I would probably have trouble catching em with an electric boat during the spawn... Image

Just troll for walleyes. You'll catch plenty of bass!

Had our company bass tourney at TR a week or two ago. They were pestering me big-time to fish it, until I told 'em I'd be trolling leadcore... Image

In the last 2 weeks I have been able to catch 4 Walleyes on TR. Catch alot of Bass, both black and white in the process. Also catching some nice crappie and 2 rainbows over 3 pounds each.

You aught to see people looking when a "glitter boat" goes by trolling with 2 planer boards out to the side.

Lots of bass fall prey to those crankbaits.

I spend most of my time trolling the edges of flats near the James/ White confluence.

Everybody should troll on TR. It pisses off the jet skiers.

LB, nice to see you back on the board, ya prodigal. What depths have you been targeting, if I may ask?

PD,

The times I have been with LB we have been all over 12-80+ ft. The cranks are running anywhere from 10-25ft. I can tell you that we haven't caught a short fish yet. No monsters though either.

I think 17' is a safe bet. I have asked for a precision trolling manual for fathers day so I will have a better idea where my baits actually are.

The eyes were all about 19"

LB, this is exciting to me. You guys are actually targeting walleyes on Table Rock--exploring a new frontier! Keep us posted, OK? One of these days, you're gonna stick the fish of a lifetime!

You're right PD, there are some fat ones in there!
I haven't had much success yet this year, but I haven't given up yet.

I hope so but right now I am getting pretty good at catching keeper crappie, white bass, kentuckies and catfish. But the brite side is that every once in awhile I stick a Walleye.

I will figure this out or run out of gas trying.
