A stormy week in The Ozarks has really picked up the fishing. The lakes are on the rise, water running and the fish feeding hard. Crappie have been hitting best on Slab Hunters but are also being found on minnows. Whites and hybrids on big sassy shad and Slab Hunters as well as top water. Cats best on shad but also some being caught on worms and dough baits. Weather outlook sounds like a pleasant weekend with a passing storm here and there,(which should keep these fish on the bite) so better throw in the rain gear just so you have the option of staying out there when it rolls in and the fish simply go nuts as they have been.
