I actually caught a TR walleye on purpose! Thursday evening I trolled up a 22" eye, a short 'eye, and 14" crappie. So I fished that spot twice Friday, once Sat and once Sun with no takers.
Things are back to normal.
And another thing: I've been getting along pretty well trolling with the dreaded Fireline, but it ain't off probation yet.

bullitt, you're ready for Stockton! When you can catch the only legal walleye in the lake, you know you've arrived. Way to go!

Congrats bullitt! I really like those TR walleyes. I am the same way though. Hit or miss every time. But you always have those green fish, crappie, whites and the trout to keep you busy in between catching the walleyes.

Might as well right off TR as a walleye lake. Just stay home there are none left.

I still say we ought to have a tourney there. After all, if Bullitt can catch one on purpose...........

Tournament hours on TR would have to be 6am Friday with a weigh in at 3pm Sunday. Might have a couple fish weighed in. If the weather is right.

Geez, I didn't know that I caught the last one! I guess the bad news is that he didn't swim away.
