Nope. Fishing @ Stockton tomorrow, to dinner with Whacker and MWG in Springfield tomorrow nite, back to work with a bonus visit to the cardiologist on Thursday (that won't go well, I'm afraid--I've not been a good boy), then up to my partner's place in Stockton Friday afternoon to rig up/gas up/tie up... See ya at the briefing!

THIS WILL BE CW'S POST #2000...bfd......maybe CW should get on the phone and have a chat with PD's pump manager. If the docs find out how bad he's really been, maybe they will tell him to stay home in bed this weekend.... 
one can always hope for a break like that! BTW, what time is the Smokey Bones thing tonight???? CW is gonna be elbow deep in the smoker all day with a little something to add to all that flathead filets that will be FRIED up in a couple of nights. Accompanied by FRIED potatoes...somebody has got to save you from yourself, PD. 
Nothing like a couple or three slices of low cholesterol beef brisket (aka smoked possum to some folks) 
to help soak up all that fried stuff...the brisket will spend all day today on the grill and ReelXTC has the equipment to bring it back to warm perfection Friday night. FYI to all concerned: the "special presentation" scheduled for Friday at the get together will definitely go on as scheduled. The US Postal Service came through (no thanks to Bad Santa) and CW's package was delivered yesterday. We're good to go!

Many thanks--AGAIN--to the Beerless Wonder (not by choice), MNwalleyeGuy, who obstinately snatched up the tab and wouldn't let go. Had a good time, and MWG handed over a nice package of Pure Fishing items including a couple of beautiful Fenwick rods, Abu-Garcia Cardinal reels, a Mitchell Avocet reel, Berkley line, Vanish fluorocarbon, Gulp baits, and more to add to the prize list for the Stockton tourney. Much appreciated, MWG!
