Anyone seeing any deer lately?

Post by Warmouth » July 12th, 2005, 12:50 pm

I have seen a lot this year, but in the last couple weeks or so the sightings have gone down. Anyone else noticing this, or is it just me?

It`s just you dave...as usual.
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

Yes what? Yes you're seeing deer, or yes you are not seeing deer?

Yes, I see them everyday. The does have been real active and we took a neat picture of a fawn that was put in our local paper. Saw a couple of small velvet bucks the other day.

Nope, I have not seen any deer.

I saw a doe last night comming back from the lake about 3-4 houses down from mine, but not much else for a past week and a half or so. I did see 3 hens and 8 chicks Sunday in my yard. There are a couple deer around that I'd like to see a few more times so I can choose which one I will make mine. It's going to be tough to decide though.

This past weekend I atv'd out to where I left my deer stand last season. It is amazing how fast nature can grow an area.

Last night I was shooting my bow out next to the road and a darn deer ran right across in front of me. I see them occasionally around my house, but not often. Maybe once or twice a year.

Stayed home from work yesterday to do some editing and watched a bachelor group of 4 bucks behind my house feeding at 2:30.

One real good one, a good one, a decent one, and a dink.

I just saw 3 about an hour ago out in one of our ball fields. I guess I was just looking for them at the wrong time of day. Image

There is one deer in our neighborhood that had better hope he never shows himself. Day, night, leap year, June 25th, I mean ever. Image
