MEMBER OF THE WEEK AUGUST 4

Post by RB » August 4th, 2005, 9:23 am

THE MEMBER OF THE WEEK FOR AUGUST 4TH IS SNOWFLAKE...congratulations to the Flake for his second award. The committee was impressed with his sensitivity as expressed in the following quote:
What do you all think of the wall color? It's Chatham Tan, I picked it out all by myself, the opposite wall (which is on the opposite side of the room) is Bonjour Beige, it's a really neat contrast. It really brings out the oak color in our kitchen cabinets.
The awards committee thought the expression was a refreshing change from the macho BS put out by most of the members of this board. Congratulations Snowflake. Image

This is indeed a sad, sad day. Not because of who won the award, but because of the reason behind it.

Hey Flake,

Maybe you can start a Pike co. version of " Queer Eye "

rainbow,

I am with DMR, the awards committee is obviously drunk. I really don't want to hear about the queer eye of anything.

It was the picture wasn't it? Image

fishin, there is a very complicated voting system on the award and no one member (there really is a secret committee) can control it. Sometimes they look at criteria that is different than you would expect. I know how you and DMR feel but I just report the results. I will make sure that all of them see your post. Hope is doesn't hurt your chances in the future to receive the award again. Snowy is now a double winner. By the way where is bullchit MoCraig?

Wow, I'm speechless. I would like to thank all the little people that have helped me along the way, our local lumber yard for supplying the paint, and my wife for allowing me to display my interior decorating prowess.

I guess since I'm a two time winner now, I'm almost guaranteed the Member of the Year.

There are no shoe in's Snowy but you are certainly opening the gap with the competition. Maybe some of them should show their softer side.

To impress the MOW committee for a 2nd shot at the title I have to show my softer side?

I'm kinda soft in the middle Image
