How often do you buy a new bow??

Once every 39 years.

I am 39. Got my first bow when I was 13 - a used PSE that I payed $50 for. shot that till I was about 20 and it was just so stretched out that I could not get it to stay tuned any longer. I bought another used bow that I shot for about 3 years. It was about at the age of 23 that I bought my one and only new bow. It wa a Browning Summit II. Shot that for over 12 years. 3 years ago I bough a used Matthews for $200. I will get another bow when this one quits working.

I killed deer with that $50 bow I had just fine. And this Matthews I am now shooting has killed about 7 deer in 3 seasons. Every deer that I have shot at with that bow was a one shot kill.

I purchase a new bow about once a decade. I've found no reason to get a new one when everything works fine on the one I have.
