Fishin I didn't figer you'd miss me.

Ther is a difference form tagging/harvesting and killing. TTTim just may have crossed that line by a major jump.

I have not got involved in TTTims quest, since I figure it was none of my business. However, DR, you just made a very notable observation.

Much more profound than some folks saying their on his side or others saying he is wrong to do what he did.

I missed your point earlier on this, sorry.

DR, what happens when you pull the trigger? Did you kill or harvest? As long as you stay within the law, what is the difference.

I appreciate your observation but what is the difference? Is this a social acceptance argument? What about the guys who kill 100's of doves?

I really don't see how the number makes a difference it is just a deer.

HB, it is back up.

Harvesting is when you take GREAT pride in what you do. And I make it a point to only harvest what I KNOW will be NEEDED and not just for a number count like tttim did. I will never believe that what he did was for the "good" of the herd in now way at all. It was a number thing.

Killing is taking the life of something of WANT or GREED ( as far as hunting goes) and Harvesting is taking the life of something NEEDED and HONORED.
I'm a ferm believer that a deer will give it self to you when it's ready ( though some skill is envoled). I can't believe that all them deer that he KILLED where honored and needed.

Killing is taking what is WANTED

DR,

I think you make an interesting point but I totally disagree with you.

Did you need to kill/harvest a deer? No
Would you starve if you hadn't harvested a deer? No
Did you take a gun in good conscience and shoot a deer? Yes

See your a cold blooded killer just like the rest of us Image

Get over it and STFU Image

MOCraig/Fishin I am just letting what I think be known. I really do'nt care if I have met him inperson or not and I am not asking him to take anything from this. I hunt the way I hunt and I will think the way I think. If you do'nt like it then you don't have to leason or in this case read it. I really do like to chat with you two alot, your abunch of good guys, but you've also got to remember something ya'll told me once. everyone has there own views don't put them down unless they are harming you in someway or another.

I WILL NOT shute up untill I am good an ready.

MoCraig if you do'nt honor something you take then you are not deserving of it.

DR,

I agree but here is my point; if you kill 50 deer or 50 squirrels was ones life worth more than another? Is a 12 point buck's life worth more honor than a 75 pound doe? You killed them all you can say harvest but you killed them. Bottom line just give it some thought.

Well atleast Fishin is talking to me in a way I wouldn't mind talking back to him in.

All I was saying (and I guess it got misaligned somewhere in the line) is that even though I may kill the deer to me there is a difference in the amount of what ever I take.

All I seen from the beginning of his hunts was a number count. Maybe he was looking for the good of the herd I really don't know but it turned into a stupid number count at the end. I can't commend that in anyway at all.

"if you kill 50 deer or 50 squirrels was ones life worth more than another?" YOu make a great point.. Even if I had the chance to harvest/kill 50 deer I wouldn't because I don't need that many. I just don't like to take anymore then what I can eat. Same with the squirrels or anyother animal out there.

"Is a 12 point buck's life worth more honor than a 75 pound doe?" Another good point.... It is if it will save needless does from dieing

DoniphanRedneck

I will only talk about my views and others if they are willing to talk to my and not jump down my throught.
