Screw the slug gun...

Post by chicobrownbear » August 18th, 2005, 9:13 am

I'm using my F-150 this season. I almost smoked a six pointer last night about 1/4 mile from my house. Still in velvet, looked pretty thick on mass, but the rack wasn't very tall. We'll see what he looks like in October. Image

Is it because of the shrapnel, and the deer can't dodge all the pieces flying everywhere? Image Image Image Image

A Dodge may be a single shooter but my F-150 is called the deer slayer. Cause it's killed 7. No idea how many it hit.

I hear a lot of dodge bashing going on, I have a 2 questions. How old are your fords and chevys? How many miles you got on them?

Mine is a 92 with 330K miles. That's a 5L gas engine.

I've seen SF's truck more than once. It has mud and blood on it that are older than most people's trucks. Image

BJ,

For what it is worth they all suck. My current truck has a whopping 70K on it and is 5 years old. It is however a deer killing and pulling machine.

My ford is an '89 with roughly 150,000. It's the 5L gas also.

...and I can tell ya, those 150,000 were not pretty miles.
