Question about Muzzy Zero Effect

Post by kcbridgeman » August 24th, 2005, 6:02 pm

I was wondering if anyone is shooting the Muzzy Zero Effect rest. I currently have the Trophy Ridge Drop Zone, but have nothing but trouble.(I'll address that in another post.) Everything I seem to read loves these Muzzy's, but I am looking for some opinions from people around here.

I have been thinking about the whisker, but my buddy uses one and says slows down his arrows a bit from when he used a fall away. The reason he went back was because it was all he had at the time. He is currently looking for a fall away now.

I read on the other site that it is kinda bulky weight wise, is this true?

sarcasm on the 2 ft per second loss right...?

If not... That would not even make a difference in a 70 yard kill shot..... Image Image

I use and love the ZE. Was a little tricky for me at first to get tuned on the this bowtech alliegence but once I got it tuned. I couldn't be happier. I shot a bodoodle for years but the concept with the drop away is superiour to anything else I have seen. I looked at the trophy taker, did alot of research and ended up getting the ZE. It's the chit. Fug a bunch of WB.

I certainly don't like any add on that fixes one problem and introduces others. i.e. WB=tear up fletch

I used the wb for 3 seasons and did a lot of testing with it. For various arrow and fletch combos I lost 1-3 ft/s with it as compared to a flipper rest.

Killed a lot of critters with it, but switched to a ZE and never looked back. I believe the ZE to be the best hunting rest there is.

If there`s a better rest available, especially for hunting, I don`t know what it could be.
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

I shoot one on my Reflex and I absoloutly love the thing. I have had no problems with this rest. I shoot instinctively on shots within 20 yards, so the "Biscuit" was out, but they are very fine rests also. Don't worry about the 2 fps...
