If it would ever stop raining, perhaps we could go fishing. Image Anyone having any luck?

Silly Rabbit. The totals are approaching record rainfall for 2005. Don't you watch the news?!? This could be the wet-est August ever.

True, the beans were lookin' pretty weak last trip home, but I think by now... two weeks of straight rain should be fine for now. Besides, it was too late for most of the corn crops.

Maybe it's a record over on the west side of the state, but it isn't on the east side.

Its spotty down here, and I live on a spot that keeps getting missed. I saw one of my Walnuts licking the grass for dew yesterday. Image

Don't doubt it. The east side sucks! Image Well, may the rain go from my house directly to yours.

My son and I are going fishin this evening.
If it's still raining we will use larger bait and fish slow.
I've caught some of my bigger fish in the rain.

I don't like to be out on the water in the rain. That whole struck by lightening thing sounds... rough.

LA,
We need this rain to fill up all those duck holes. I'm sure you wouldn't question God's reasoning, would you?
McLintock, great party, but no whiskey. We go home.

Image I might question the reasoning, but I would be wrong. I don't need anymore rain. When the sun comes out, I'm gonna have to mow the frickin' yard AGAIN.

I don't like duck, btw.

L.A.,

A couple of weeks ago, I was a little North of Flake's home town.

We were playing washers, and the cracks in the ground were wide enough to put your beer in them. That's a proper beer conservation drought, but it ain't good for anything else.

Also,

I'd give you 10 to 1 odds that I could prepare duck so that you would like it. Image

I'm going to have to congratulate Dave on "training" you, LA. Not many women mow the yard anymore. Image

It doesn't take nearly as long as when she push mowed since I taught her how to use the riding mower. She still goes to darn fast imo. Image
