DMR leases ground and usually hunts in Grundy Co. for deer and turks. He is also on a lease for the crack house - Duck hunting.

I would bet you $ that thrashing beans is a legitimate term. BTW, I don't lease, but I would in a New York minute ifn' I had to.

There really is no substitute for good hunting land. That is why I considered it in the spring. Still, I have private land in north MO for free, so I'm going with that this season.

Hobie - You're wrong..... threshing

I've actually been involved in a threshing before, pretty neat, we even had a stationary baler setup for the straw. Those 100 lb straw bales were really cool.

By God when you combine beans it was called thrashing beans. Not a one darn person I know called it threshing. It could be that our pronounciation was off some, but I stand by my statements jizzlicker.

Well I've got several whitetail racks and 2 mounted whitetail heads in my basement that say it's threshing.

It is threshing, but most south MO folks pronounce it "thrashing" because they are either illiterate, or to drunk to care.
