It's not "killing". It's "harvesting". Insensitive bassturd.

I had every intention of getting into duck hunting this year but didn't. I bought some decoys last year along w/ a call. Was gonna train my lab but didn't. He hasn't even really started swimming yet. Maybe next year.

JimDog,
I was completely aware of the calendar, but I was refering to the big ducks. Besides, I've been spending a great deal of time lately doing "honey-do's" and building up points so the wife can't complain as much when I'm gone every weekend. Gotta do what you gotta do.

DH72, just cause your lab ain't trained yet, doesn't mean ya cain't get into to duck hunting. My dog was out all year last year (and now this year is questionable), don't mean I ain't duck huntin. A dog is great to have on a hunt, but it ain't a necsessity.

BTW, ya know ya gots a standing invite, right?

Yessir, let the carnage continue.

I'm ready for sleep to become a highly sought after prize.

I'm ready to laugh at someone for floating their hat, and hope I don't do it myself.

I'm ready for a fresh coat of duck blood on my boat, my bike, and the bed of my truck.

I'm looking forward to staying in cheap motels, and grilling fresh duck breasts in the parking lot.

I'm ready to walk into the boss's office on Tuesday and tell him there's a cold front coming, and I want the rest of the week off of work.

I'm ready for another day of killing, eating, and misbehaving with all the decadents in the Crackhouse.

I'm ready for the wife to say, " I guess you'll be gone again this weekend ? " And to reply, " Sorta, I'm leaving Thurday, and I think I'll be home Monday. "

The funny thing is, I could have typed this last February, cause I was just as ready then. Image

I'd have to agree. The guns weren't in the cabinet yet and I was looking forward to this year.

Gothca? What the heck is that, Hobie? Is that some gay ritual you duck hunters do in the blind?
