Brassica is just a generic botanical term for the mustard family, Brassicacae, of which broccoli, cauliflower, kale, etc. are members. I expect that it's a genetically engineered hybrid that is supposed to have high tolerance to cold and increased nutritional value.

I don't think we have any in our food plots.

Just plant turnips, a lot cheaper, and the deer love them.

Pontifex Maximus: The Chief Priest. Head of the four Orders of Priesthood. A title assumed by emperors.

2B, NO!

A serious answer to a serious question. I will do all my non hunting and non killing over a big Wal-Mart bought corn pile this year Image Makes no difference since I don't hunt and just talk about it on the internet Image

I planted 10 pounds of the Biologic "Green patch plus," which is 1/3 brassica, with oats & clovers on Tuesday.
The Deer Greens Supreme (Turnips, rape and wheat) have a week head start, and look good. I'll have to go back this Friday and water since the Rain has all dried up, and record temps are expected. Shooting lanes are also on the list. Image

It sure is nice to have some greens when everything turns brown. Image
