motel near Boonville Mo.

Post by Walter » November 2nd, 2005, 6:50 pm

I have permission to hunt a farm near Boonville Mo. I was wondering if anyone knows of a motel nearby that is friendly to deer hunters? If not how about a campground.

Friendly to deer hunters? WTF does that mean? If you've got the jack, they'll be friendly to you regardless of what you're doing during the day. Now if you were butchering the deer in your room, they may frown on that.

Rafe. Some motel managers welcome hunters, and some do not. I know of motels that provide a space to hang a deer for a couple of days for instance, and others that would rather hunters wouldn't be there.

Rafe, the next time I'll be sure run my questions thru you first and make sure they are acceptable to post.

Please do. This place would be better if everyone were so considerate.

You know, I have only run across one anti that would not take my money. It had nothing to do with hunting, it was a pet store. The manager had an issue with me buying rabbits from the store...

There's a lot of adult entertainment places around Boonville. Have a pleasant stay.

Oh yeah, they're in the middle of the freakin' corn belt, they don't mind hunters. I mean chit, even the strippers wear hunter orange in Boonville.

Hey, is Teaser's Palace still open in Boonville? That's the only strip club I've ever been to. It's been about 12 years ago.

We got kicked out of a hotel, because some blood dripped out of the back of the truck, in Lusk, Wyoming. They had to call the cops on us, since I supposedly threatened the lesbian hotel owner and her lover. I told them that we should have a threesome and they didn't appreciate it apparently.

The best hotel for the money/ and easyhunting is the Q-T Inn Right of Hwy 70. It is cheap $35-40 bucks...Got a restuarant across the street. It is a Motel so you walk right out of your room to your truck. Which is nice!!! There is a XXX store right behind it, so you can pick up a little somethin for the wife...Which is always a nice touch!

It takes about 5 minutes to get through town...and over the Missouri River.

We tried a couple of other hotels in town... Super 8 is nice ...but a lot of families and strange looks

The rest of the hotels in Boonville, look like they belong in Beirut!!

There is (or at least used to be) a campground right around the Q-T motel too. I believe it's just south of Bobber's Truck stop on Route B.

We stay at a bit of a hole in the wall when we go. It is the Homestead Motel in Boonville. Perfect for us deer hunters. Not ritzy enough for the duck hunters though, might get their Eddie Baur crap scratched up.

$35 a night
