Think you had a bad weekend!!

Friday night, I took my neighbor Ken down to my property in southern MO. I had went back and forth on what stand, I should put him in. I wanted him to see deer, but also wanted to give myself an opportunity. The wind was only really right for 1 stand and I felt bad hanging him out to dry, so I put him in one of my favorite evening stands that I had been seeing lots of activity at night. On the way to the stand we saw a nice 8 just standing along a field about 400 yards from the stand that Ken would sit in. Well to make a very long story short...my neighbor drilled a 10 point Monster. ...I did not see a freakin thing!

Yeah....that's a terrible weekend. You get no sympathy here. Get over it selfish. Sounds like your your big enough to give a guy your best spot as long as he don't kill anything. You?ll be better off the minute you stop thinking that was your deer to kill or thinking you would have killed that deer had you been sitting in that stand. You may have never seen that deer, you may stink, you may have crapped your pants at the first sight...you never know. Be happy for the guy and he'll be the same when it?s your turn.
