Re: I predict...
I am a goofy mofo, but #1 public land and private land should be managed differently, and #2 You still haven't shown me where a ML hunter has accidently shot a bowhunter because of a lack of HO, #3 You're a babbler, blab, blab, blab.

The Doctor said I should drink more whiskey. Also, I'm calling myself 'The Doctor' now.

The only way to settle the differences between ODF and Dave-t, is a 3 way with PS.

Snowy - keep your stupid-azzed gay fantasies to yourself. Some of you boys are just obsessed with constantly interjecting gay references.
dave - Oh sure, the private land right next door to the CA should be managed so much differently because we all know deer don't cross fences or property lines.
Oh, show me one instance where a rifle hunter has shot a bowhunter? I can't think of an instance there, but yet MDC requires archers to wear it during firearm season. Same hunters in same woods hunting same animal...HO requirements should be uniform.
I hunt private land, surrounded by private land that is mostly restricts hunting. We haven't had a trespasser out there in several years. Why should I be required to wear HO while ML hunting? You're trying to defend a completely stupid and arbitrary decision by MDC. But by all means, continue arguing with yourself...I've voiced my opinion and done debating the issue.

Politicians are like shoemakers who make pretty shoeboxes but forget to make the shoes.

Then don't wear HO if you're so pissed. Chit, stand up and be a man about it instead of btichen like an old woman.
And yes, private land and land owners have a much different view of what is needed to manage the deer herd, vs saving income. I'm not saying as a hunter I like that, but it's the reality of the situation.
