I have a co-worker who has family along the river. They said that Johnson Shut-Ins was totally inundated and no one could get there because Highway N was gone. A 20' wall of water was supposed to hit K Bridge at 9 am. There also a couple of other bridges between there including Highway 21.

So far they have said everyone is OK but I will be amazed if there is no loss of life on this one. Hope and pray everyone along there comes out alright.

Was that on the Black river? I have a buddy that lives just above Clearwater Res on the river.

Yes, on the Black River. Highway K is the last bridge before the lake. Hopefully he's OK.

He lives on the high ground, but we have camped and floated at his place for years. He'll be alright, just may have a lot of property damage.

This could have been a real disaster if it would have happpened on a summer holiday weekend. The Shut-ins campground lies right along the river bottom and is always packed.
Good Luck,
