Carbon Arrows???????
I have shot aluminum arrows for 30 years and I'm thinking about going to carbon arrows. My son-in-law says to go with Gold Tip XT. Can some one tell me the advantages and disadvantages of the carbon arrows? And what brand is the best? Thanks......

Advantage 1: Carbon arrows do not bend out of shape when they hit the shed.

They are much faster, and made to straighter tolerances.

Actually aluminums are made to straighter tolerances, until you get into the higher end carbons. As far as which brand is the best?...Gold Tip, Carbon Express, Easton, Beman, and Arrow Dynamics all make good shafts. As long as they are spined right for your bow, you really can`t go wrong with anything these companies have to offer. For the money the Gold Tip XTs are hard to beat though. If you`ve never shot carbons then I`m sure you`ll be impressed with them.

They last forever if you don't lose them.
