Fish the Opener??????

Post by RB » March 1st, 2006, 9:26 am

If any of you fished the opener post up how you did and where you went? I know most of you are cheese chukkers but if any fly patterns were of note post that too.

Considering I am in S. Carolina Triton that is a brilliant observation. I normally don't fish the opener. Lilley's has a tournament this Saturday that we always fish so Friday to Sunday is my opener. I don't go to the parks very much. Triton, if you are on here I guess you aren't fishing either unless you are on wireless.

If some whistledick is sitting at a trout park surfing the net, they should get kicked in the ballsack.

Real men dont fish for those slimey things...Kind of reminds me of hunting on a fenced area. Didnt know you werent in God's country...

Kind of different than in a few years past where it was colder than a well diggers donkey, today it is supposed to be around 80.

Triton, what is wrong with hunting a fenced area? Same thing as what is wrong with trout fishing.....nothing. If you are a true outdoors MAN you chase anything that is game or fish, including shad. You are spouting off an elitist attitude and must be one of those types referred to by DMR. Don't tell me you have never caught a trout.

I think I remember catching a trout....about 25 years ago...I just threw it up on the bank for the crows and buzzards to eat. Image

Triton - Try dragging your azz outta the trout parks and then come back and talk to us about how it's like hunting inside a fence. Image

ODF, no trout fisherman really gives a rats azz what Triton thinks anyway. He prolly sits at the puter all day and blows spit bubbles.

I trout fished as a kid, but since then, I have moved on to men's activities, like shed hunting, and crappie fishin.

Image @ the ranger. I know you're right, but I just wouldn't be ODF if I didn't respond with some sort of attitude. Image

I never really understood all this deer v. duck hunting, bass v. trout fishing, etc. except it's fun to stir the pot. But come right down to it...I hunt, I fish...it's just what folks like us do. Image
