God made whiskey so the Irish wouldn't rule the world.

Mouth,

I left that door open, knowing that someone would step over the threshold. I just didn't think it would be someone with perceived intelligence. Just goes to show that once in a while, even an Irishman can be wrong. I was bettin' on Bud, or maybe Donnyfanruffnuts. Image

Tim-O-Tee,

Yer a fuggin bad influence. You live in the "House of Pain."

There are many good reasons for drinking,

One has just entered my head,

If a man doesn't drink when he's living,

How the heck can he drink when he's dead?

Since no losers are responding, I will.

I feel fine too, MOCraig. I'm sure I haven't achieved the level of euphoria that YOU get from being a smug, narcissistic azz, but fine none the less.

I'm takin' a break from rebuilding handrails and ballusters on our deck. Nothin' like a nice cold Budweiser when yer on a break. Image Image

LA,

It's sunny and 50 here. I should be fishin' instead of workin'. Image

I celebrated St. Pat's by staying up until nearly 1AM working on some krep for Mrs. Hollister. Then I went to the shop early this AM to help Mrs. Hollister some more. I really need some guy time. Like going out & killing something.

St. Pat's is a lot more tame for me than it used to be. I went to UMR, where the nerds get to act like total idiots for 5 days.

Rafe, I have many friends that attended UMR, and my wife went there as well.

I hear that Rolla ain't quite as rowdy as is was back then. Image

And, just for the record, I was asleep by 9:30, and was awake at 5:30 this morning. Image

I don't know this "work" of which you speak. Image

Not to worry, they still do that. 'Been hearin sirens every night this past week. I'm entertaining the question of how many jackasses are going to be waking up in their vomit this morning. 'Guess what is most important is that they all wake up.
