That was a good post Keith. I can't see how his site will go down the tubes though. I think it's more like just two or three different Pubs or Camps where there used to be only one and folks migrating to the one they feal most comfortable with.
I like posting on all three hunting sites. I get different things from each one and STILL, the only thing that should be taken seriously is the stuff that goes on face to face.

Welcome Mike! You can play the "it's all entertainment" card you want. But when the administrator allows random deletion and editing of posts that are in no way a violation of whatever rules there was, it's a matter of integrity. The administrators there have shown they have none! I also find it laughable that they would allow a "civil war" amongst their supporters/members. What is even more hilarious is that this was all done in the name of a personal grudge/agenda...but nobody had the balls to do it themselves or own up to it.

I agree with a lot of what has been said. I dont really know what Showme was trying to accomplish. Whether intended to just give us deer guys are hard time by letting Griffin run wild for a few day, that would have been fine, and in all actuality it was pretty funny.

But its when he didnt get the reins back fast enough, or "undo" Griffin and Dabs damage is when things got stupid. Hell, I am still banned overthere. Griffin and Dabs did exactly what anyone would expect them to do, it was obvious they were just having some fun.

As to what Showme is trying to do now, I have no idea, but folks just are gonna sit around and take that crap, mostly because what was there before was a lot of fun, and its not anymore, so they are leaving. I am sure many of the duckker will say that we have got any "game" or whatever, which of course is silly when most people where denied access or freedom to post what they wanted.

Either way, regardless of what Showme was trying to accomplish, he has a dead deer forum now to show for it...I dont miss it in the least

Gutpile - I have talked with some people that discussed this issue with him a little, in person. It was said, in a round about way (again, because he ain't got the balls to stand up and admit it), it was done to piss off a couple of folks. It's not all the deer folks, but a select few. Why? Because he tried to play with the big boys and had his ass handed to him. Last I saw, there is every variation of the "f" word imaginable on the duckboard, spelled in a manner to get around the word filter. His official "excuse" is a crock of [censored] and he knows it. Unfortunately he ain't got the balls to handle HIS issues hisself or stand up for what he's doing. Instead, he hides behind others and drags down his board with it. Now who is it that doesn't have "game"??? Last I heard, this was an open site. They want to play, c'mon over. At least over here, it's a level playing field. But they may be more comfortable at the old site, where they got their mommy administrator(s) and moderators to protect them. They don't wanna play unless they can stack the deck.

The biggest infraction from my point of view is Showme, never ever asked anyone to tone it down. Remind anyone what it is he wanted from us. Nothing. Then turned infraction king loose to run amuck. Pretty funny for about two hours but two weeks just got to be more that I could take.

Fellas..after seeing Showme's responses to this whole issue it is obvious he is just plain stupid. No real gains to even try to be rational with him. He still looks at this as a big joke. His last statement says it all. Something along the lines that those who are used to dishing it out can't take it. What a joke. He doesn't even see the difference between a little banter and outright censoring those who object to him. You know what is truley sad about all of this? He thinks that griffin is his buddy because he is being played like a puppet. Griffin is laughing his ass off at how truley stupid and naive that Shome is.

Its good to see you over here and I hope you stay. My feelings are that anyone who continues to post over there is stating that they are ok with how things were done. Everyone has to do what is right for them though.
