Start talking to him then. The boats that I know of who will be there can fit 2 or 3. Mostly fishing boats. A big river jon would be good for running gear out to the sand bar. I imagine most of those that show will be the party regulars who don't talk about it.....they just show up hungry. If'n DMR is there you can bet it will be a feed.

Checked with the boss last night, there is a chance that I may be able to do this.
McLintock, great party, but no whiskey. We go home.

I have a wedding to attend some time around then, If I'm not in it you can count me in. I'll tow the 22 foot jon boat and all the river rigs and we'll catfish it up. I'm more a rod and reel guy, but I'll bring the 10' cast net and do my part of catching bait. I may even run a few jug lines.

LR, It ain't a question of proximity, it has more to do with the fact that the wife is expecting to drop a little one in short order. Now ifin she's at the inlaws that weekend, it should be no problem.

I would, but I don't think I'm qualified. I'm thinkin someone who knows the area oughta be the one to head this thing up. You know, someone who knows... a good rendevous point... where the local put-ins are... where the good sandbars are... that kinda stuff. Chit, I'm gonna need some directions and a map just to get there.

LR wanna jump in here ??? Image

There is about a 5 A sandbar just about a quarter mile upstream from the NH ramp(which means there is a place to launch a boat from). Easy access for beer and bait.Figger that is where we will stage operations from, sandbar not the ramp. It is about a 15 mi run to Hermann but I've been going about 9 mi up and launching the noodles. Bring your jugs/noodles rods and reels etc an see who catches what for braggin rights.

Bait??? Hotdogs in anise oil(not anus you preverts), shad sides or crawlers will work

All bets are off if the river comes up an covers the bar, which I doubt it will... Image

Hobs - your on your for a map Image

Food an other such chit I'll guess that will just happen.
