Haven`t tried it yet, but I plan to. I have read that some guys think that it is the best sounding grunt call they have ever heard. It will take alot to convince me on the growl though.
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

Yeah it does look good, but much like the Snort Wheeze call, I have hunted for 30+ years now and I have never heard a buck growl.

I've heard the snort wheeze from two different bucks, but I couldn't tell ya what a buck growl sounds like.

I have never heard a buck growl either, but I have a feeling this is something like an amplified grunt. I do not plan on purchasing one of those grunt calls.

Right away I figured this "growl" to be a crock, about like the old MAD turkey dead silence whistle. But, after watching the clip demonstrating what the "growl" sounds like, it is no gimmick. I have heard that "growl" on several occasions, with 2 of them being bucks that I watched enter doe bedding areas and roust up all the does. Another time was a buck that had a doe hemmed in between ditches about 75 yards from my stand. Had her there from 10 a.m. until right before dark. Every time she would try to get away from him, he would make that sound and basically herd her back.

170: One of those times was right across from Bill's driveway. the buck crossed that field and went into the north edge scattering does everywhere.

I don't know who all it was, but I spent the majority of the weekend at Cabela's in KC, KS.

Saturday mornin I was in the store and saw a rack of about 100 of them things...Saturday about 2 in the afternoon a guy stopped by the booth I was at and had one...said he figured he should buy it cause there were only about 5 left.

I bought one. It is the best grunt call I have ever used.

I can't wait to try it on some bucks.
