The more I go, the harder I try the luckier I am! I tend to forget the bust days because I have more good days to remember. Practice makes you lucky.

Some of the best days I had while hunting, I never saw a deer...like when me and the boy sat on stand all day and whispered back and orth, took turns napping, laughing...and I think I am lucky a deer didn't come up and interupt that!!!!

I consider myself pretty lucky for the most part.

Dangerously sloppy, but lucky. I would agree.

2B, I have made two bad shots on deer with a bow in probably the last 15 years. The same deer I might add. Two bad shots none-the-less.

I'll never understand the screw-up on the rifle kill unless I hit him just a bit high. That deer didn't go 150 yards from where I shot him though. Maybe less. Too bad he was under 4 feet of water.

Heck all I cared about was the rack anyway. The score on him pissed me off so bad I threw the scoresheet away.

Why the heck wasn't TwoTall MOTY? Not only is he a killin SOB, but, as usual, he is absolutely correct on this one.

No question luck plays into it. But you only get luck every once in a while. No one consistently "lucks" into good deer consistently.

Maybe not, JD, but sometimes people are redundant, repetitive, repeat themselves, and say the same thing over & over again. Image

I consistently think that consistency is the key to being consistent and constant.

JD, this is your website. You can give the title to whomever you think should have it. BTW, I voted for 2Tall. No way would I vote for Craig. He only remembers to bring ice cream half the time.
