Good Luck to everyone!
I haven't had time to post much. Just want to wish everyone good luck. We have been busy getting things rolling. Here are some early season events so far: bowhunting journal

Absolutely Craig, email your address.
Smitty, I have been anxiously waiting for my annual call where you can't catch your breath and blabbering on about some buck you just arrowed but are not quite sure of the outcome. I really look forward to that call every year.

Let's not get started on not being certain of the outcome on deer we have shot.

On the other hand, you probably have been certain of the outcome in most cases.

Sad thing is, on the last two deer I have shot with a bow, the only question I had was whether they were 8 or 10 pointers and how they might score one way or the other. Yep, both were mainframe 8s and didn't break the 120" mark. I keep telling myself I am not shooting a deer unless it is a 10 pointer (or a bonafied big 8 pointer). Oh, and I will never understand hitting that deer on the day Morgyn was born and losing it. Oh, and I need my donkey beat on that 11 point rifle kill that I unloaded my gun on. I have yet to even raise my bow this year. Of course, I have only hunted twice.

PS you best shoot a good one in Iowa. Do you need my eyeglasses?

LP: I am already worried. I mean, once they get above 130", they look huge regardless. I have been told that regardless of what I kill, it has to go on the wall. That is a standing rule. So, I would like to kill something legitimate. I may see nothing. Who knows? I'm just looking forward to the trip.

Smitty, I wasn't ripping on you for bad hits on deer, just saying I miss the good stories you have to tell when I get "the call."
