LA...you surely know there are several directions one could go with this comment.
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

Ya oughtta see our parking lot. There's an unmarked police car stuck that 3 officers are trying to pull out with an ATV. It's pretty entertaining.

Rafe, how was the driving down there. Think they will improve rather quickly with the temp of the ground?

85 miles east of St. Louis, and we got nothing but rain.

The sun should warm up the roads enough to make it a little more tolerable by late this afternoon. It was rough this morning.

18" of snow in Clinton MO.

Driving conditions suck here. I haven't seen blacktop in 2 days. Hopefully they will get some of this chit cleared off today.

Also, deer were moving like crazy yesterday between the snow showers. I must have seen 8 bucks yesterday and last night, including the biggest bodied spike I've ever seen just after midnight. I'm still not convinced it was an older deer with a rack all broke to chit. It was hard to see clearly in the darkness.

Any Columbia folks around? I think they got "hammered" also. Image

I went down to my property in Bates County yesterday; they got about 15 to 16 inches of snow. The backroads are still really bad, and they cancelled school in the local districts there today because of it. Even Highway 18 (a state highway) has localized patches of ice. The farmers down there are pretty grateful for it; they are hoping it will fill some of their cattle watering ponds back up. Unfortunately before the now they were almost bone dry, so it may not help much.

Hobie, they save the project's streets for last, you should know that by now.
