I'm kindof wondering how Dave, Craig, Dabs, and DjF faired. They got the grunt of it early last night. Weather station said they tracked the one storm south of KC for a long time with a tornado on the ground. But, the other storm looked far worse by radar. It had a major hook echo while the one south was small.

Lots of wind, lots of hail and rain. Some pretty bad flooding in KC, but otherwise we came through OK. It blew my trash can about 30yds away and up against the fence this morning. But that was the worst damage that I saw.

Saw a funnel cloud near Hazelwood this morning, and now it is absolutely pouring here in Downtown St. Louis, with heavy winds.

We've gotten real lucky around here, were pretty much 2 hours from everything and the bad weather has gone North or South of us. Hope all is fine.

Tornadic supercell went just west of my property in Bates County and went northeast through Settle's Ford to Creighton and Blairstown, just like the tornadic storms last season. I went down there to check on things, and my property didn't even get a drop of rain- go figure. Yet northwest of there near Dayton the ground was covered with nickle to quarter-sized hail.

On my way back up to KC I caught the second tornadic storm that went through Harrisonville and touched down briefly near Kingsville (the one that went past you Lonepine). More hail there also and saw a tree on fire near the highway from a lightning strike. Pretty interesting evening.

We are all still a' kickin. Great thing about rain storms, they remind ya that you were suppose to change the windshield wipers.

All okay down here in SW MO. The tornado siren came blasting about 430 this am and got me out of bed, but no damage or anything...Cant say the same for the area around West Plains and especially Caulfield where a 7 year old girl was killed.
