Let's turn this around... I heard that "300" is the most incredible movie of all time. A friend of mine said people stood and clapped as the end credits rolled last weekend.

Craig, Clint has kinda lost is ability to portray a Spartan warrior. No offense, but what is he 75 now?

Ya gotta point. After John Wayne and Clint, the rest are just pretenders. Image

Speakin' of Clint...anyone seen that movie he has out now? I don't think he's in it, but he directs it. Sumpthin' 'bout Iwo Jima. Worth seein'?

I watched a show about the Spartans on the Discovery Channel one day. I`m telling ya, it was incredible. I hate to go to the movies, but I might have to go see this one.
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

It's about the Greek battle of Thermopylea, where 300,000 Persians tried to take over Greese, and a smaller force of Greeks, around 7,000, held them off for a few days. After the battle is known to be lost, 300 Spartans (and in true life 1000 other Greeks) held off the force of 300,000 for as long as they could so that the retreating Greeks could evacuate towns and live to fight another day.

It is one of the epic battles of all time.

From what I've heard, the movie shows nothing of the sea battle and the swing of good luck the Greeks had there, which was just as important and impressive as the land battle.

Clint Eastwood nearly lost me when he did The Bridges of Madison County. I thought he was gonna have to surrender his Man Card. Fortunately, he has earned enough of them, that he could afford to lose one.

Dave is actually a bit of a history buff.

Clint... well, he is a history buff too, being he's 100 years old.

I watch nothing but the history, discovery, and science channels. I haven't seen the spelling channel yet, but keep me posted when it becomes available, dickheads.

Should I give a quick synopsis of the role the Vandals played in bringing down the Roman empire, or are you jacklegs going to go on about my creative spelling?
