Three hunts in IL and did not kill a bird. I have a serious stink on me. It wasn't for lack of birds or the opportunities. Rafe had me on a piece of land that had plenty of game. Between the hens, the bad luck and one pretty stupid rookie mistake, I just managed to not fill my IL tag.

A point of clarification: MoCraig is the turkey killingest mofo I've ever seen. That boy can flat turkey hunt. You should all be hanging on every word he utters about turkey hunting... You will be better for it!!

Thanks for the opportunity Rafe. While I didn't fill the tag, I had a some pretty good hunts and enjoyed the time in the woods...
