D-Mav's New Name on the Cafe
D-Mav's New Name on the Cafe
Limbshot! This name is appropriate after his antics this past Saturday morning.

OK, you've started the story, let's hear the rest!
I was drunk the day my momma got outta prison.
Re: D-Mav's New Name on the Cafe
I'll let him tell the story. It's not good. But, it does the CCGC proud. All I am gonna say is that he slept out in the rain all Friday nite to kill a freakin' turkey. How many of you can say that? Again, it shows the dedication of the CCGC to rise above all of the rest of you MOFOs.

I once slept out in the rain all night to get tickets to a Van Halen concert!
Does that count?

C'mon, Limbshot, your public is waiting for the story.
I tell you this much, boys, don't be drinking anything when you're reading it that you don't want to spit out onto your computer screen

I once passed out and slept through a David Lee Roth concert. When I came to I was laying prone in the back of a truck, headed for Spgfld. Don't think that won't mess with your head.

Wishing I could quit my job, and hunt and fish all day long !!!!

D-Mav can't get on to the message board at work anymore...something about having his internet privileges revoked.
And don't believe Smitty, he didn't shoot it off the limb either...here's the email that D-mav sent me about the hunt:
I took bird #1 finally this past Saturday. My best bird to date. 21
pounds, 1 inch spurs and 3 beards: 11 inches, 5.5 inches, and 2.5
inches! Set up a little too close for comfort. Had a general location
on them from the evening before. Walked up the ridge the next morning.
The first time they gobbled they were roosted about 50 yards form me.
At 6:10, did some real light calling with the slate, and he and his two
buddie all triple gobbled, and he jumped out of the tree and glided to
20 yards, right in front of me. Luckily, he landed behind a tree and
allowed me to get my hand off my striker and onto my gun, once he
stepped out from behind the tree, I let him have it. Hope to have some
pics pretty soon, although they aren't pretty. The bastard rolled all
the way down a 200 foot embankment and lost feathers all the way down.
He was practically naked by the time I recovered him. So he probably
actually weighed about 22 pounds if you add all those feathers back in:)

If your not real CCGC you don't get the truth!!! Until we make him post it here... It was just to wild not to tell the real deal.
I will tell you'all this much... He and that bird were wet when the ordeal was over and there is proof that turkeys can swim!

And wait 'til you hear the part about the Weed Eater. D-Mav (Limbshooter) is one creative bastard. He really is the embodiment of the CCGC. Except he's short.
