Just drink enough to were you pass out and no problem hearing the train.
RB's snoring will drown out most of the train noise anyway.

PS - For reference the island is on Stanley Bend, 150mm. JC is at the 144mm. Wilton is at the 162mm. Looking on the Nav charts the RR Tracks are .5 to .75 miles from the river. The island is over .5 miles long. Not that I'm lobbying for this spot or anything

JC would work better fo me too.
Hey goober lips I thought you weren't coming.
When did I say I wasn't coming??? What I said, you knuckledragger, is that I can't be absolutely sure... at this early point in time... if I'm going to be able to make it. However, doing it closer to Columbia/JC would definitely increase the odds.
I was drunk the day my momma got outta prison.

After tomorrow I go on vacation and wont be back until Aug. 13th so you all pick the spot.
The spot Fish has checked out sounds good to me. Last year he did a good job in finding the spot we camped on.

Lemme get this straight :
The common consensus has me burning close to 100 bucks in gas driving 90 miles up a river that runs within 5 miles of my house ?
I'd hafta give that some serious consideration.

DMR ....Ah come on now...So how much gas has you burned driving to not kill a duck. I think ducks are as exticnt as the dodo bird is anyways

Now...catfish fillets, Andy's seasoning, 375 degree farenheit grease, tater slices & hush puppies, garden maters and a little bit of Jack and mabbe some ice cold AB products at sundown on a sand bar on the MO R in August...now ...Life is good!!!

Geezus...you're driving twice that far this weekend just to drink beer that is made down the road from you. WTF's your point?

I know the feelin. Kinda puts you in the same boat I was in last year.
Well, maybe not the same boat... since last year I was in my boat and you were in RB's boat, and this year I'll prolly be in my boat and it sounds like you'll prolly be in RB's boat again. But you know what I'm talkin bout.
