Ohio giant

Post by hunting170 » December 9th, 2009, 10:37 am

Without a doubt I spend waaaaayyyy too much time on the computer, this time of year, checking out what is being killed by other hunters across the country. I can`t remember ever seeing so many 200"+ bucks. An Ohio muzzleloader hunter killed one on opening day that is by far my favorite.

If you believe a guy on AT the left main beam is 35"(possibly the longest ever recorded). G2s are 18", and 16 7/8". And inside spread is 24 4/8". The only negative things I can say is that it`s too bad there is no matching G4 on the left side, and it`s too bad that I didn`t kill it. If you`re interested here`s a link to the story:

One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

That is an amazing deer for sure.

Just once would I love to kill something even half that big. I'll probably get the job done this afternoon the way this weather is looking. That is, unless I blow out of the tree.

It is almost to bad that it wasn't a clean 8pt with that frame and tine length. That right main beam is insane.

And you're right about the 190's and 200's Tony. It seems like there are a couple coming out of every midwest state this year.
