I had deep fried trout slabs a couple of weeks ago at Taneycomo. They were good, dare I say almost as good as crappie. DMR - Why don't you drop some crappie slabs by my house this evening, so I can compare the taste.

Mushmouth - It's been a while since I've had a good azz kicking. You offerin'? I pretty much gave up fighting for drinking....but I can change my ways. Image Considering you got tackled by a carp, I figure I'm already in shape for you with the 12 oz curls I've been doing! Image

Yes, you will need plenty of liquid courage. The side bennefit is, it will also ease the pain.

I know both of you. All I can say is, watching you two fight would be about like watching two turtles race.

So you're saying that it would be a great spectator sport for kids.

If they were really bored, yes. And if the kids got to paint numbers on your backs.

ODF SAID:
I never really understood all this deer v. duck hunting, bass v. trout fishing, etc. except it's fun to stir the pot. But come right down to it...I hunt, I fish...it's just what folks like us do.

Ain't that the truth....I am glad you said that. Now I know there are two of us on here. However, DMR is prolly a candidate too. Image

ODF-I'm an ex-punt returner, I've been tackled by everyone at some point.

No. I'm light enough, that I flew a good distance after impact a few times. I'm sure I made the highlight tape many times...for the other team. Image
