Saw one

In Barton County at 4PM Sunday Sept. 26 about 50 yards West of Hwy. 71 between Hwy 126 & North Fork of Spring River. Good-sized, probably 150 lb.

Why dintya shoot'em?

I didn't shoot him because all I had with me was a .22 rifle and a .22 pistol. Also (since it's a 4-lane road and I was going North, the hog was on the West) I would've had to turn around at the next road and come back.

They're mostly in southern MO although feral populations can be established anywhere.

After you take a look, I can give you more specifics about locations. I can tell you the population ranges they show are the basic areas and are not inclusive of all areas that have feral hogs.
