A day in the life of...

Post by PoisonSnake » December 21st, 2004, 10:50 am

the PoisonSnake has recently looked like...

1) A deer that gets up and runs off once the PS unloads his .270.
2) A broken muzzle-loader stock due to a dropped gun from a height of 17 feet.
3) A half dozen arrows wallered all to hell by the PS's foot.
4) A middle finger that is now stiched with 10 sutures due to a treestand that nearly fell on the PS's head. It is a wonder I didn't lose my finger last night boys.

Hell, you should just be darn thankful that you don't have bad luck like that in the labratory or you might burn the place.........oops sorry to throw that in your face Image Image Image

You will have to find somethin to soak that finger in to keep the swellin down to a minimum for the next 24 to 36 hours Image Image

PS I am going to send you a rabbits foot or 4 leaf clover. You need some new luck or retire from hunting. Bowling might be safer for you and you can get a shirt with your name on it.

It was a heavy wooden ladder stand that I made. Well, I was moving it to another tree. A buddy of mine and myself were trying to push it up to get it to the right height when the thing slipped on us and came crashing down. Well, I was trying to push it away from both of us and my finger didn't quite make it. We wrapped the finger with my sock, tried a different game plan, and then got the stand up. Then, I went to the Emergency Room. Image

Quit yer darn Image . Seems to me you've had pretty good luck. You DID find the deer and the most important part of it to you...the Image. That ML did NOT go off and blow you a new buttnozzle. You got a few stitches in your hand (and probably some good painkillers, if you were smart), but you still got all your fingers. And the arrows...hell you needed and excuse to buy some new ones anyway! Seems to me your life ain't all that bad! (But just in case I'm wrong...let's wait a couple of weeks to get together for those beers. Image) Image

Speaking of that, I'll be in Columbia on Jan. 10. I'm inviting myself along with you for some beers then.

ImageNow that was funny OF. BTW, this stuff is supposed to happen to guys like Keith@aimlow. Not me. Truth be known, I just sit here laughing at myself about all of this. OF pretty much nailed it. I have it made for the most part. Good wife, good job, little girl, good hunting land. What more could a guy ask for? A big bobcat maybe, but that is about it. Image

Note to self: if ever hunting with Mr. Poisonsnake, wear body armor. LOL

I would wait a while until his luck changes a little before going in the woods while he is armed with anything. Fishing might be ok though.

PS - Are you saying you're looking for some wild vaginalopening? Image Snowflake can probably help you, he seems to be the biggest one on the board. Image

I figure if it involves a gay bar, then the chances are both of you have met.
