Spent most of Friday at Johnny Morris' "Spectacular." It wasn't. There were some good presentations in the "Seminar" room, and a lot of nice folks out working for their sponsors, but you could definitely see the impact of having a group of stores have their own "Spectaculars" on the inventory and the guest list.
I did take 'em a few old reels and pick up a couple of new ones (after a struggle to even find the ones I went for). I couldn't find the rods I wanted, and neither could they. Guess I'll have to order some from somewhere.

I looked around at the Outlet Store, all I did there was get a reel repaired. I did see some BUBBA clothes, though. I thought the pants with the 54 inch waist was biggins' until I saw the pair marked "60-30". I don't want to run into that man in an alley, or anywhere else for that matter. Especially not in the buffet line. And if you need a 5XL fishin' shirt, the Outlet Store is the place to be right now. I held one of them up, and I'll bet a family of 5 illegal aliens could live in there.
