It is fun to be around great folks like yourselves. I can speak for myself and Jim (who is on the road) when I say that we made some great friends the past two visits to Bull Shoals. We both get down your way quite a bit (Jim more so than I with his Tracker Sponsorship) and we look forward to it everytime we head that way.

We have some things in the works that may get us back your way this winter. Some of you know about it and the rest of you will shortly. I sure hope it comes through. You guys are a blast.

Feel free to ask any questions either here or e-mail me personally. Heck, you can even give me a call on my cell 701-371-9431. I always have time to help a friend catch more fish.
Keep the Line Tight,

Johnnie Candle

Hopefully we'll have a big announcement to make in early aug after Johnnie wins the Mobridge tourney, actually maybe we should lock them up early just in case. We may not be able to afford them then.

I have a better idea...you go with Rick again, and I'll take your wife with me. I hear she is a pretty darn good stick! We'll have our own little competition... Image

That's OK....go ahead and dump CW like a bad habit....actually I think that would make for an interesting contest on upper Bull Shoals. I might come down with the Express and watch just to see how it turns out. Betcha Jerri can't snap that 150 lb stainless steel line on a snag, though. If y'all have that men vs ladies contest, you better strap Jerri down or she could get pulled right out of the boat if she held on too tight to the line. What I really want to see is how the hand lining stacks up against the way Billy and I normally fish down there with jigs, swimming minnows, and river shiners. Tell youse guys what...y'all team up as per above, big pro boats and all, and we'll fish from Pot Hole to K Dock....any method goes.
Three boat tourney....losers buy dinner for the winning boat. Boat #1: Juls & Jerri, Boat #2: Rick & Table Rock, Boat #3: CW and Billy Boy. Ain't skeerd....... Image

Doh! My Bad... Image
Didn't mean to hurt your feelings CW! Image
Like you suggested, we'll have to make this a three way competition. Afterall, what would the experience be if we didn't all partake in your "possum sammiches" and Mayhew wine? Image

I will start twisting Billy "The Ultimate Grump"'s arm so we can do this. Don't worry about hurting CW's feelings....if I knew somebody in the fishing show business, I would have them come down and tape the "contest", with emphasis on the ladies' boat. There aren't very many outdoor sports where men and women can compete on a level field, but fishing is one of them. If BB is not up for the challenge, I will find another talented live bait angler to help cover CW's lack of talent in that application. Got just the person in mind, too.
