Two of us fished for crappie three hours last night and caught 22 keepers 9-12 inchers using jig and minnow combos. About a one to one ratio for non keepers. Light bites and fish were in the 12-15 feet zone. Not great fishing but beats a sharp stick in the eye. Wait i think I have another bite! See you on the lake!

Looks like they were holding shallower.

Good to hear Bruce. I have my boat back in working order, and the wife is working this weekend, so I'm hoping for 20hrs or so on the lake this weekend. Good luck to ya.

surface temperature is still 85 degrees, but cooler evening temps may have brought oxygen levels up in the water column. I have social commitments and family visiting this weekend and will be unable to make it up there but wanted to scout it out for a few folks! Good luck!!
