God bless the USA, great pictures!

Congrats on the cow. Now tell us some details.

Public lands, no outfitters... We freelanced the whole deal.

Saw a handfull of bulls and several bunches of cows. The rut hadn't kicked in very good. Although we got on a few screaming bulls.

I shot my cow 3 miles from the truck. I had to take an offhand shot at 90 yards for her chest. Don't use powerbelt bullets, poor performance. Intensive track job.

Impressive pics. How did you get all that meat back to the truck? Congrats.

Like this... We got lucky and found abandoned logging roads .8 miles from the cow and .4 miles from the bull.

TTTN, never been on a trip like that but would like to someday. Must be a great time to freelance a trip and have that kind of success.

That's a mighty big piece of meat, you're packing, Two Tall.
