I didn't see a deer all weekend. Anyone doing better?

Saw a bunch behind the in-laws house in Wildwood.

Nope - didn't see a deer all weekend. Wait, I did see 6 slick heads in the headlights below the house Christmas night.

Drove through MO on I-44, then around St. Louis on 270, then up 367 into IL, onto 67/267 on Thursday night and didn't see a deer. The entire way back, I saw 6 out in a field right at dusk in Jasper County about 20 miles from home. Pretty disappointing. The only deer I saw in IL was a doe Dad & I saw while rabbit hunting.

I drove backroads for several hours on Sunday and saw enormous amounts of deer around cedar county. Even the smaller bucks are starting to group back up.

I have moved stands to where the most deer sign/tracks are, but I just haven't seen deer.

I'm thinking I need to do some more extensive scouting, or I just had a bad weekend and wasn't there when the deer are moving through.

I told my son that I was going to shoot Santa's reindeer Chistmas eve, but I couldn't even get that done.

Went to my stand behind the house yesterday afternoon and ran 4 off about 70 yards from the stand...Of course nothing showed after that. Came back to the house, and went out on the back deck around 8:30 and ran some more off....
