Taney fishing report

Post by fishin » October 16th, 2006, 1:35 pm

Fishing was fair to poor but there are 10 pounds of fillet's in my freezer so that is good.

No 20 inch plus brown for me this trip but a lot of fish that would make most people happy but on a lighter note my 6 yo caught an 18 inch 1 lb 6 oz bow that really made her trip.

On a side note not that anyone gives a chit, my 3 bladed trolling motor prop is now a two blade and I have a big scratch on the bottom of my boat and trailer fender from trying to load on the chit ramp above Short creek but you all would have enjoyed that show very much. Image

So in summation, if you have a 20 foot glass boat drag your lazy self over to another ramp to unload and load trust me on this.

Had a friend that chewed his drive shaft in two on that ramp. Back tires went off the concrete and he dug into the sand and the drive shaft spun on the edge of the concrete.

It was a mess Roscoe, there is a big drop off on one side of the ramp forcing the trailer at an angle making it impossible to load my boat. Fortunately, other than getting wet, losing my temper and doing a nasty burnout up the ramp in anger it came out pretty OK.

That is something I have been noticing about you Fishin. I'm thinking you are in need of some anger management courses. I'm giving a free lesson this weekend if you would like to attend.

Where at PS? I have had anger management and it helped quite a bit. I should kick you in the gash for shooting that little deer, how is that for anger management? Image

I didn't tag it. That should give me some credibility.

I have never poached a deer Image Other than that I am probably guilty as charged though I brought home less fish than the possession limit so I didn't poach them Image

I will say this. I have been guilty of tagging deer for another person and I have had another tag a deer for me. I have also shot (on a few occasions), more than one gobbler in a single shot. But, I have turned myself in for those and received written warnings. It has been a long time since I have done anything stupid considering my best friends are game wardens. Now, that is not to say I haven't come very close to doing something stupid. Arkansas comes to mind in fact. Also, surely by now you have heard the story about Keith@aimlow's turkey walking around in the back of my truck? Image
