Osage Orange. The toughest chit on the planet. But it turns smooth.

I have never seen it cut with the grain like that. I know that I have burned through many chainsaw chains on the chit, though. I know of no wood that is harder. I am excited - it will be a one of a kind for sure...

It's actually one of my favorite woods to build calls with, but I feel sorry for the poor bastards who sawmilled it into planks that I pay out the azz for. Nevermind I don't feel sorry for them.
